Cast and Productive Jewelry
Using various types of wax (hard and soft) the student explores the plasticity of the medium and creates unique jewelry.
The Kosmogonia jewelry school has as its main goal and philosophy that students acquire comprehensive knowledge and experiences in real-life courses.
Our school's jewelry courses stand out, as we offer quality, unique knowledge within the magical world of manufacturing.
Indicatively techniques taught are:
- Embossing a design in soft wax (pink)
- Experimenting with textures from organic materials and everyday objects in soft wax (red)
- Construction of a dome ring in bars of green wax
- Microsculpture with relief or deboss carving in hard wax
- Decoration of wax models with techniques such as granulation
- Welding of wax surfaces and waxed wires using soldering iron
COURSE INFORMATION
- The duration of the course is 3 months (12 two-hour meetings) – meeting once a week.
- The cost is €150/month (24% VAT not included) and covers 4 two-hour courses.
- In order to participate in the course , knowledge of the basic silversmithing techniques is necessary.
- Classes are held in the morning or afternoon in groups of 3 people.
- All tools and materials required are provided free of charge by the School as part of the training.
- Upon completion of the course you are given a certificate of attendance.
