At the Kosmogonia Jewelry School, you will learn the techniques of making modern jewelry with metal as the main material. In the first class you will complete a piece of handmade jewelery of your own and then you will be trained in all the methods of working a metal sheet in order to give it shape, texture and dimension. Gain unique knowledge and experience through Kosmogonia's jewelry making courses.
Indicatively, some of the techniques you will learn are:
- Cutting metal using scissors
- Metal forming and finishing
- Soldering of various types
- Texture creation and oxidation of the metal
- Manufacture of wire jewelry in combination with semi-precious stones
- Creating bezels for resins (cold enamel, liquid glass)
- Cold connections

- The duration of the course is 5 months (20 two-hour meetings) – meeting once a week.

- No previous experience is required to participate in the course.

Stone setting is one of the essential stages of jewelry making, in which gemstones are attached in a metal casting. The main objective of stone setting is to hold a gemstone securely as well as to enhance the brilliance of a gemstone by showing its cut, clarity and color. Indicatively, some of the techniques you will be taught are:
- Construction of all the tools you will need in order to set the stones
- Gypsy setting
- Tube setting

Get to know the traditional art of Silversmithing through modern methods of making handmade jewelry. Indicatively, some of the techniques you will be taught are:
- Cutting metal using a saw
- Metal forming and finishing
- Texture creation and oxidation of the metal
- Soldering of various types
- Soldering two or more flat metals together
- Creating a spinning ring
- Making stud earrings
- Making a silver ring with a cabochon semi-precious stone setting

- The hot enamel
Hot enamel, also called vitreous enamel, is a material made by fusing powdered glass.
The powder melts at temperatures ranging from 700 - 980 ° C either with the use of a blowtorch or in a special furnace.
It then hardens to a smooth and durable glassy coating.
Glazing is an old and widespread technique, mainly used in jewelry and decorative arts.
indicatively some of the techniques you will be taught are:
- Appliance of the enamel on to the metal with dry & wet placement.
- Impession of a design on to an enamel with a pencil.
- Firing the enamel using a blowtorch.
- Firing the enamel using a furnace.
- Cloisonné and plique-à-jour techniques.
